Join Gary Stager and Sylvia Martinez for three days of project based learning and critical thinking in a makerspace environment
ALL participants will receive a copy of “Invent to Learn: Making, Tinkering and Engineering in the Classroom” to support their learning and ability to create makerspaces with their schools. District teams will also receive a “maker kit” to help them launch a school or district initiative around maker spaces and PBL.
This event is also the kick off to a year long E2CCB professional development strand around STEAM, project based learning and makerspaces which will culminate in a Maker Faire in collaboration with SUNY Fredonia in the Spring of 2016.
