Continuing our Education Eavesdrop webinar series, join us as we visit with Sylvia Martinez, author of “Invent to Learn: Making, Tinkering, and Engineering in the Classroom,” often referred to as “the bible of the Maker Movement in schools.”

We’ll be chatting with Sylvia about her passion for learning through the Maker Movement: what it is, what it looks like, and how it impacts student learning.

Sylvia is lifelong learner who is passionate about the power of authentic learning. She spent nearly a decade as President of Generation YES, focused on the role of student empowerment in improving technology use in K12 schools. She holds a Masters in Educational Technology and a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.
