Meet the Makers: Making A Case for Making in the Classroom (Sylvia keynote)

Immerse yourself in everything “maker” at this hands-on, activity-packed day designed for teachers, administrators, educational support personnel and parents. Bring STEM to life in your project-based classroom and STEAM your students to academic success. Brought to you in partnership with Tech Ed Services, Inc. and Deezmaker 3D Printers & Hackerspace.

Why make?
Making transforms the way we work and learn (and it’s fun). “Makers” celebrate arts, crafts, engineering, science projects and the do-it-yourself mindset. Bring the Maker Movement to your own local STEM initiatives. This workshop will get you up and running and/or advance your skills to design and implement activities and opportunities that get students tinkering, exploring, inventing, playing and making.

Workshop Fees
$189 per person or $169 per person for teams of 3 or more from the same school or district. Fees include continental breakfast, luncheon buffet, snacks, materials, resources and chances to win fun stuff.
