Twenty Things to Do with a Computer: Your 100-Year Tech Plan

Cynthia Solomon and Seymour Papert predicted 1:1 personal computing, the maker movement, the rise of computational thinking, and computing across the curriculum — fifty years ago. Yet we are still striving to situate their progressive ideal in a modern context with computing that is creative, humane, whimsical, childlike, and central to learning “everything else.” Celebrating the anniversary of their work, the presenter has authored a book in collaboration with leading voices in education and technology, who offer compelling arguments and practical examples of what the future of education can look like when we stand on the shoulders of giants.
